My favourite part of London is St. Katherine's Dock and in particular Tower Bridge. I keep reminding my son that I would love to have a flat in retirement over looking the bridge - would only cost about million pounds!!! Anyway, I took these photos on my mobile on a cold evening whilst out for a walk with my husband.
and under the bridge..

Hope your wish will come true, so I could couch surf in your flat someday :)
I was so astonished to see that Tower Bridge was so BLUE. I loved my two trips to London.
It seems a wonderful place. I'd love to live there too!
Win the lottery and you will be in clover er sorry in a flat looking out at Tower Bridge.
What a picture of beauty! Wow! Thank you my friend for your prayers and your loving words of encouragement. I love you and blessings!
What a beautiful walk to take! I'm glad you took photos, and I like the way the lights were shining there. Last year I won a trip to Richmond and will never forget the walks along the Thames with my husband; it was gorgeous.
I hope you do get your bridge-side flat one day--wouldn't that be lovely! Good luck!
Super pictures from your mobile, it would be a good place to live.
The mobile actually gives the images a mystical tinge. Perhaps it's because for you the bridge is magical.
You sound like me, the only difference is I want to be on the Sea on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Go visit my blog for Blue Monday and you'll see why!
You take such great shots with your mobile! I first visited the Tower in 1977, seems like yesterday. Have a great week!
I love all the pictures you post. - Cheryl
I suspect that if you opened that flat to boarders on vacation you could probably take in enough rent to meet the payments -- especially if there were a balcony with a good view of the bridge. Okay, perhaps not, but I'd certainly be willing to rent a room for a few days if I were in the neighborhood.
Oh Judith - I love it! How wonderful to be able to take a walk and see Tower Bridge. Philip and I spent a wonderful morning there - definitely one of my highlights when we visited London. Thank you for sharing that with us ... it has brought back so many memories!
That is a wonderful photo. And an amazing place. Sounds like allot of money. But hope your dreams come true.
so you live in London near the tower? When I worked in London 50 years ago I walked around a lot and thought about how it would be to live there. I can see it is very expensive. LOL
i would love that view every day as well...the bridge is beautiful :)
thanks for sharing with us and have a great week!

Let me share to you My World thru Cagayan De Oro's Night Cafe.
Wow! These are amazing pictures. I have never been to London but I read a lot of historical fiction. I can see why you would want to live in a flat over looking the bridge. It's beautiful.
Avery beautiful bridge, I would like to see it someday. Would be nice to look out a window and see it every morning!
