browsing through photos

I've been browsing through some of my photos on my computer and came across these taken a few months ago and thought I would share them. The photos are of Nigel & Karl's walking holiday across the Moors in Devon.

My 50th post - Roast Dinner

How appropriate this is my 50th blog and Nigel is 50 this year so I should post a blog in his honour..

Nigel's favourite meal is a roast dinner - Yorkshire puds, stuffing, plenty of rich gravy, roast potatoes, beef or lamb so he was delighted, when on holiday, to find a carvery serving roast meals for £3.50 :) in a place called 'Peacehaven'. Doesn't take much to put a smile on his face - lol

Home

Home from our holiday - although it was short and cold!! it was a good break and it's always good to get back to your own bed and toilet :)

1. cuddle Karmen - notice she has a poorly eye, clean it with warm water
2. start holiday washing
3. cuddle Karmen - make appointment with Vet
4. off to Vet - eye infection - drops for the eye
5. more washing
6. cooking
7. more cuddles with Karmen
8. clean out fish
9. sort out office
10. more cuddles with Karmen
11. make list of things to be done tomorrow- oops it is tomorrow
12. time for bed or another holiday

Hastings and Eastbourne

Last night we stayed at the Hastings Travel Lodge and today we ventured down to the old part of Hastings and photographed the old fishing net shops..these I took on my mobile

Although the sun was shinning it was still bitterly cold so we decided to drive to our next location Eastbourne. We drove along the coastal road and from the car!! the sea, beaches and surrounding areas looked beautiful lol

Nigel bought me a digital camera to enable me to blog photos of a better quality, which I thought was very kind of him :) thank you dear xxx The majority of my photos I have taken with my mobile phone.
Eastbourne Travel Lodge where we are staying this evening and tomorrow night.

view from our bedroom window..

Bye for now - wishing you an enjoyable evening.

Holiday

Nigel and I are away for a few days leaving Karl to look after Karmen and the goldfish. We stayed at Broadstairs Travel Lodge last night and I woke at about 4am looked out of the window and saw that the whole car park and surrounding area was covered in snow.

my car is the little one on the right on it's own...aahhh

Today it has been extremely cold and the weather tonight is expected to go down to minus 10, which I am aware for some of my blogger friends is not cold at all!!! but for me it is :(

Tonight we are staying in Hastings at the Hasting Travel Lodge - we've had our evening meal in the restaurant and tomorrow we shall endeavour to drive to the seafront!!

So I wish you a good evening and keep warm..bbrrrrrr
