The Salvation Army Corps (Church) in Hadleigh, Essex is a relatively new building and this is a view of the roof standing inside the building. The roof is pine wood with a glass dome with stained glass illustrating The Salvation Army colours - yellow, red and blue.
Yellow for the fire of the Holy Spirit. Red for the Blood of Jesus. Blue for the purity of God

The stained glass is impressive with interesting symbolism.
What an interesting dome? It must have taken a lot of time and love to make. I hope you are well and keeping warm. It's definitely cooling down here ... jumpers at night and its chilly in the morning. The days are still quite hot! It also get darker earlier in the evening!
Have a fabulous week!
Great perspective on this shot. "Under the dome" is always a cool look.

Thank you for the information on the symbolism of the colors. I didn't know. It's a lovely stained glass ceiling. That's not an easy photo to take.

What a beautiful shot. I bet it was actually very pretty to see. We are bell ringers for the Salvation Army. My cousins husband is a fireman and has earned so much money with his fireman's "boot" that he has been honored over and over. We call him St. Bob! ~ Robyn
