Photo Hunt Saturday - Bridge

In the early 1990's Nigel & I lived and worked for The Salvation Army in Bangladesh. I had already crossed this bamboo bridge and had turned around to take a picture of Nigel in the hope that he might have fallen in!! lol

I think you could call that taking minimalism to an extreme! But it's very similar to the 3-rope bridge design we learned in the army. Surprisingly stable actually.

I don't know if I could make it across that bridge. I need a little more structure to feel secure. Great take on the theme.

You can find mine here:JyLnC's Photo Hunt. Stop by and check it out.

It would take me awhile to cross it. I am sure the locals cross it with no problem. Ha..It must have been an experience moving around like you did, learning different cultures.

I'm a wimp. I'd have never tried it.

That is a really neat bridge. I would have crossed it at that level. I tried to cross one that wasy very high up and it caused a bit of a panic attack!
