Blue Monday - Blue Skies

click on the picture to visit Sally and other Blue Monday participants.

What a glorious day in Barking, UK to celebrate 'Blue Monday' the sky outside is a glorious shade of blue with not a cloud in sight - so for Blue Monday here is a photo taken at 9am of my beautiful blue sky - just to prove that we do occasionally have wonderful weather in the UK even if it does only last for the morning!! :)

followed by one of my favourite bands as a teenager - ELO (Electric Light Orchester) singing 'Mr Blue Sky'

Couldn't hear the song, but my word, what a beautiful blue sky! We're cloudy, grey and hazy here today - not very Sunny South African at all! :) Thanks for the advice on the 21st! Sounds like yours was a better idea! LOL!

Wow! Pouring with rain here in South West Scotland, and greyer than a grey thing....But Mr Blue Sky is one of my all-time favourites, it's such a happy song!
Fab post Joodles!

Classic song! It can't help but make you smile.

Regarding your comment on my blog, I'm just curious if you ever enter the world of speciality teas? What's the best London has to offer?

(And how about making a video of how to make the perfect cuppa?)

Have a great day from a cloudy Dublin!

Hi Buskitten - just popped over to you and looking forward to Wednesday and hope it brings a good response for you.

Lovely sky; I've been to England twice and enjoyed the weather during my stay. I see you respond to comments here. I never return so if you respond to me, click on my email or blog. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

I think we must have traded weather with you for the day. Possibly for the weekend as well. It rained all weekend long, a steady, cold, gray rain that turned to a soggy, slushy mix of snow overnight.

Lovely.

But I'm glad to know that the sky is still blue!

Somewhere.
