This post is a continuation of the previous two posts but as Beverly commented 'yes' it is ideal for Pink Saturday. I didn't realize how pink the ice looked with the lights shinning on it until I uploaded the photos.

Whilst Nigel & I waited for our party to arrive - we went and watched the Ice-Skaters skating on the rink, which had been set up in the moat area of the castle.

Judith, this looks like the perfect post for Pink Saturday. Do you want me to add your name and link to the list while I have time this morning?
This is such a great time of the year when people can skate outside on nature's ice. It is real cold but everybody is enjoying themselves.
How lovely. Happy Pink Saturday!
Th is beautiful!! I have never been ice skating since I grew up in Florida. Your pictures captured it so wonderfully!!!
I am off to check out the rest of your blog.

Hi Vintage Girl at Heart..Thanks for your question.
The Salvation Army is a worldwide church and charity in over 118 countries. I am a Salvation Army Officer - an ordained minister/vicar/pastor and have been since 1985. www.salvationarmy.org.uk is the website for SA in the UK. I hope that explains things?

Hello Judith! That is just fabulous that you captured the pink of the ice skating rink. How fun! Happy Pink Saturday!
Oh, no I didn't pick up an award. Didn't know. Language doesn't help me sometimes.
This is so nice. I didn't know they did that kind of thing. We visited London in 1997 and again in 1999. The Tower of London was one of the most interesting places although there were many. I love London. Would love to go back but probably never will.
Your new Sunday blog is really nice but I tried to make a comment there and couldn't get it to work. It's probably just me. Must not be doing it right. So, I'll just make my comment for your Spiritual Sundays post here. I went ahead and deleted the first name on Mr. Linky. I'm glad you shared with us.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Thoroughly enjoyed your pink Saturday and your pink sky post too. We have had quite a few pink sky mornings lately which started out with sun but ended the day with terrible weather. I really believe in that old saying. ~ Lynn
Looks like a magical time!!
Happy (belated) Pink Saturday!
