I loved the quotes! With all the "hi tech" gadgets we have today, some have forgotten how to "hand write" a letter. Thanks for the reminder that people love receiving handwritten letters sometimes. It is something about seeing the ink on paper and knowing that someone took the time to sit down and write them makes it all the better! God bless you my friend!
This is very, very true, Judith and I agree with you. Technology is all very well, and it's a very useful tool, but there is nothing like writing, and receiving a real letter! I go to Italy quite a lot, and one of the things which I love are the beautiful stationary shops, they are exqisite! They seem to great such a pride in 'writing paraphinalia', wax seals, lovely pens.....
Great stuff!
I think that blogging is the letter writing of today.
I love to write letters. I have many stationary boxes and I love nothing better than to sit at my desk and write a letter. I love to collect notecards, wax seals, writing pens...you name it. My writing suffered as I got older due to an eye disease I have. I recently had a corneal transplant and I've noticed my handwriting is changing...for the better thank goodness.
Wonderful post.

I love when I receive a letter in the mail!! And it happens so infrequently now!!
People just think it's easier to sit down and type out an e-mail and send it, and it is. But, there is something about opening your mail box and finding something personal inside, except bills, that makes you think that someone took extra time and thought especially of you!
